KPT and KPTU - consist in measuring the continuous resistance on the cone along the entire length of the probing profile. These types of tests are very fast and accurate. They allow you to determine a large number of geotechnical parameters. They are an excellent addition to geological drilling, as they allow you to determine the strength parameters, characteristics of the soil index and deformation parameters. Thanks to them, it is also possible to make a preliminary assessment of the degree of compaction of cohesive soils.
VT - this type of probing is performed in order to determine the shear strength without runoff in organic and cohesive soils. VT can be used to determine soil growth, weakening zones or caterpillar slip zones.
DPM, DPL, DPH and DPSH – thanks to them, it is possible to determine the degree of compaction of disconnected soils. In the case of these measurements, the parameter is the number of strokes of the probe hammer required to submerge the conical tip to a depth of 10 cm. This method is used to control the quality of earthworks, including compaction of backfills in pits and compaction of embankments.
